Razer is once again revolutionising the gaming keyboard industry by introducing its innovative, custom-engineered mechanical switches that utilise an optical light sensor in each switch.  The switches use light to actuate instead of traditional metallic contacts, eliminating hardware lag from key presses.  Less mechanical parts also mean reduced switch degradation, increasing the Opto-Mechanical switches' lifespan to 100 million keystrokes.
