The Samsung 970 Pro 1TB NVMe M.2 SSD (MZ-V7P1T0BW) is a high-performance drive designed specifically for video editors and gamers. It features the latest Samsung 3 bit-MLC V-NAND technology to deliver next-generation levels of performance and reliability in a small form factor M.2 2280 unit which can be easily fitted into any desktop PC or laptop.
By combining Samsung’s next generation V-NAND and intelligent TurboWrite technology with an updated Phoenix controller, the Samsung 970 Pro 1TB NVMe M.2 SSD delivers outstanding sequential read/write speeds of 3,500/2,500 MB/s. The TurboWrite region of the drive has also been expanded up to 42GB enabling improved drive performance under a heavy workload and increased transfer speeds for larger files. Random read/write performance has also been improved over the previous generation 960 Pro drive, with random read/write times coming in at an impressive 500,000/480,000 IOPS.
The Samsung 970 Pro 1TB NVMe M.2 SSD also boasts improved reliability compared to the previous generation 960 Pro.
